Thank you for using our fantasy football trade analyzer! Congratulations! I must have answered 150 Lesean McCoy questions these past 2 weeks but I do believe this is the most interesting one to date! There are a couple of things going on here that make this interesting. The first would be the timing. Ellington just went off against he Broncos last week scoring in both the running game and the passing game. His abilities and offensive scheme make him a candidate for a monster game just about any given week. He does also appear to be over the mysterious foot ailment that sprung up prior to week 1 (knock on wood) Arizona is also past their bye week which is not really a major factor in many cases but given the fact that you own Lesean McCoy I'm guessing you may not be exactly undefeated at this point in the season. Every week is important right now and giving up your featured back for even a week could send your team to the bottom of the standings. The schedules are similar going forward and the skill sets for each respective players speak for themselves. Given what we know here, now, today I'd take Ellington. The Philadelphia Offensive line is going to be patchwork until next month, Lesean McCoy will be off next week (although I do think he hits pay dirt this week against NYG) and there are no other running backs getting touches in the Arizona Backfield. Never feels good trading away a stud like McCoy but if you need to win right now its a deal I'd make.
